Author Shayne Leighton - Of Light and Darkness

Interview with Author Shayne Leighton Of Light and Darkness: Book One - The Vampires Daughter Genre: Young Adult, fantasy, paranormal By Decadent Publishing
Book Blurb:When one human stands before an army of impossible obstacles, the likelihood of overcoming them in this coming-of-age modern fairytale may result in war between light and darkness.

Abandoned as an infant in Prague, naive and strong-willed Charlotte Ruzikova was raised by one of the last Vampires left alive. As a human, she knows no other home than the one nestled deep in the woods of Eastern Europe, where Witches drew spells of enchantment, Phasers threw tea parties, and Elves are the closest in kin. Charlotte has lived her life in the dark with her Guardian, content to having him to herself and reveling in his attention, until she's realizes she wants more...

Resident medical doctor and Vampire, Valek Ruzik fears the day his ward would come of age and blossom into a fine woman, and he is forced to confront his own moti…

My Top Ten YA Reads of 2012

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at brokeandbookish. Here is my list of the top ten YA reads I want to read in 2012 (and they aren't in any special order) and they aren't all coming out in 2012), let's say I am way behind on my TBR pile. The Golden Lily by Richelle MeadCity of Lost Souls by Cassandra ClareDivergent by Veronica RothDelirium by Lauren OliverDeadly Little Voices by Laurie Faria StolarzThe Iron King by Julie KagawaBlack Dawn by Rachel CaineDefiance by Shelly CraneSwear by Amanda HockingNevermore by James Patterson (the last of the Max series).
There are more than ten but those are the ones I think I want to read most. I may be forgetting one or two. My TBR pile is about 60+ books now, and I know I didn't list everything on my goodreads account, so there is more, probably 70+. There just isn't enough time in the day!

What's your top ten look like?

Author Promo - Ella James

I haven't read anything by Ella James, yet. Ella James is the pseudonym of a 20-something author who lives in St. Louis with her wonderful husband, whiny baby, and mopey dog. She likes Bubble Yum gum, Diet Grapico, geeky space stuff, novels with romance, and sleeping in. Dislikes: long waits at red lights, repetition, math, and grasshoppers. If she had things her way, she'd spend all her time on a space station, writing, reading, and eating ice cream sandwiches.

Before-You-Go-ebook Margo Ford just became an heiress. Not the Paris Hilton kind. Her billions came after her father died and her insanely wealthy, insanely absent mother officially claimed her. Unfortunately, some terrorists noticed, and they hatched a plot to kidnap her. After a news report goes awry, reporting that Margo *has* been kidnapped, and her mother offers the humiliating sum of $500,000 for her return, Margo doesn't want anything to do with her *#$!@ of an egg donor. Then she is sentenced to a summer of &…

#TT - Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read
Open to a random pageShare two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that pageBE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!(make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Being Tuesday Teaser - with a book being released on Friday I decided to give a teaser from my novel! :)
